What is a writer?

I have a dog, London is my favourite city, I eat pancakes whenever I can and I never say no to a cup of tea.

I work a day job, most of my income comes from this, but I'm still a writer. I scrawl down words whenever I get the chance and I have notebooks all over the place to make this easier for myself. My writing time is precious to me, and I can be selfish about getting it.

Being a writer doesn't necessarily mean riches and it doesn't mean that's all you do, but as long as you put pen to paper, as long as you create, as long as you string the words together, you are a writer.
