life in books: The magic Faraway Tree

I've always loved reading, ever since I was a little girl and one of the first books that I loved so much I read it more than once was The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton.

First Reading

I read it at home for the first time when I was about seven, and then I remember sitting in the classroom at school in Shetland, as we read it as a class. I read it a few more times throughout my childhood and then not for a long time, but I've wanted to read it for years again.

Now Reading

I'm excited that I've recently purchased a second-hand copy so I get to. I'm taking a trip to my childhood by climbing The Magic Faraway Tree. I don't actually remember much about it now. Only that I loved it.

This is a book I will definitely make time for between my content writing and my fiction writing.
