Who has exciting plans for New Years Eve?

ree

I'm a fan of New Year, not because I go wild on New Year's Eve, but because I like the clean slate that comes with a brand new year.

New stories to write, new books to read. Dust off the past year and all the things that went wrong, and move on.

For New Year's Eve, though, I do have some big plans with my PJs and my favourite blanket. I'll have some prosecco and nibbles and have cuddles with my shih tzu Lia Bear. If I can stay awake as late as midnight, I'll consider that an achievement.

A Year Gone

If I'm honest, I don't think a lot has changed in the past year. I've taken on more content writing work than before, but I don't see a lot of personal development over the 365 days just gone.

I'm still kinda lazy, I'm still kinda anti-social, and I still eat way too much junk food. All things I should change in 2023, but things I probably won't change.

A Year Arrives

What I would like to do is streamline the writing process, dedicate more time to all different mediums, and be more organised. More efficient and productive.

I got some good opportunities this last year, but I think that if I had been more dedicated I could have enhanced that. I plan to make the most of any opportunity in 2023. I just hope I get some.

The Last Few Days

There's still a 2 full days of this year and I'll be at the day job for both of them, but I'm excited to be home with the family, a few drinks and to see in the New Year. Chilled but fun. Just how like it.
